summary

Patch 15.3 has changed the environment significantly, and the “95 configuration” is finally back!

The strengthening of high-cost units, crystal gambit adjustments, and the weakening of reroll configurations have given a tailwind to players aiming for Level 9.

In this article, Aoko Hashimoto explains the basics of the “95 Flex” and introduces specific examples of the configuration in an easy-to-understand manner.

Contents

Why the 95 configuration was revived

  • Crystal gambit enhanced.
Base stack increased from 11 to 13. Total stacks increased by 18%, resulting in a significant increase in rewards, allowing players to earn over 250 gold in Stage 4.
    (Example rewards)
Previous → 210 or so for 9 losses in a row
This time → 250 or more for 9 consecutive losses
*It is now possible to get rewards up to 350-400 for 2 double downs!
  • Weakening of reroll configurations.
The downward revision of “9000+” is particularly significant, and reroll carries like Catalina and Kai-Sa, which ramp up from the middle to the end of the game, disappear.
  • Strengthening of 5-cost units
Yone strengthened by approximately 10% and Lee Sin by up to 20%.
The probability of a unit drawn in a reroll at level 9 being a “hit” has increased.

Typical “95 flex” configuration!

4 Juggernaut 95

  • If you have all the items for the vanguard but no equipment for Vals.
  • If there are more magic items, Gwen can be incorporated.
  • Yone + Lee Shinn carry.
  • However, it has a low priority among the 95 configurations.

2. tesla flex

(Here’s the basic form to build around Vals + Braum!)

  • Basic shape: build around Vals + Braum.
The basic form is the highest priority to build this form.
It is essential to secure equipment for Vals in both derivative forms.
  • Derivation 1: If you can pull a ★2 Lee Sin and still have items for Braum.
→(Wait for Braum to become a *2, and then strip the equipment off of Executioner Lee Sin, and replace it with Braum’s equipment.
(It is recommended to wait until Braum becomes a *2, strip Executioner Lee Sin’s equipment and replace it with Braum’s.)

(Derivation (1) is here! (The axis of Vals + Braum remains the same, but in the form of connecting with Lee Sin)

  • Derivation 2: If you can pull Yone★2 at level 9 and have fighter items.
(Yone has been enhanced in this version, so the tactic of incorporating Yone into Tesla 95 is now possible)

(Derivation #2 is here! The configuration you want to go for when you have Yone★2. (Must be equipped with Valls)

3. bastion 95

(The vanguard is an ironclad formation with 6 Bastion Braum, one of AP’s 95 configuration options!)

  • Ideal when there is no equipment for Vals and there is an abundance of magic items.
  • It can function with purely magical items alone and is very powerful when completed.
  • Zaira (power up: follow blooming) is the rear main carry.
  • Twisted Fate is acceptable for subcarriage, but the basic principle is Zaira > TF.
  • With the Bastion crest, you can carry Yone Gwen, and especially “Bastion Yone” is the most powerful.

The 6 Bastion’s Braum is extremely hard, and with an item build that allows for a series of more skills, it will run the length and breadth of the battlefield.
6 Bastion’s Braum increases physical and magical defense by 150.

Notes on playing

  • Branching by presence or absence of Vals equipment
With AD equipment → Tesla 95,
AP equipped → Go to Bastion 95.
  • I don’t trust Lee Sin ★1.
Due to the skill specifications, it is not stable and there is a high possibility of an immediate fall after using the skill.
  • Rear-guard investment is stable.
Since few units in the current environment directly target the rear guard, it is a good idea to concentrate equipment on Zyra and Vals.

summary

In patch 15.3, the “95 configuration” was completely revived with the strengthening of crystal gambits and the weakening of rerolls.
After reaching level 9, it became an environment where a winning unit could almost always be drawn, and it became a powerful strategy to aim for first place in a stable manner.

impression

Until now, the “overwhelming strength of the reroll configuration” has often prevented players from being rewarded for reaching the 9th level, and this has been a difficult patch for players who aspire to reach 95. However, in this version

  • Crystal gambit adjustment stabilizes funding
  • The core of the reroll configuration “9000+” weakening the strength of the mid table.
  • 5 cost enhancements to increase completeness from level 9.

The three key features of the patch make it truly a “95 worth doing” patch!
