meta-expected
With the nerfing of Malfite, Socialite, and Prodigy, the power of the sniper/mentor/prodigy configuration that led the environment in late 15.3 is expected to settle down.
Also, adjustments will be made around Vals 95, which had been highly powered before the discovery of Socialite x Mentor, and its power is expected to be somewhat reduced as well.
On the other hand, Samira, which was underpowered in the previous patch, has been buffed significantly, and configurations employing these (Soul Fighter, Edge Lord, etc.) may emerge in the meta.
In general, I have the impression that this patch suppresses the outstandingly strong configurations and raises the unfavorable ones (with the exception of the reroll configurations).
Although the final impact of the major item modifications, such as Kraken’s Wrath/Nasher Tooth/Quicksilver, is still too early to tell, we expect the patch to be more balanced from the unit’s perspective than the previous patch and to offer a wider range of composition options.
