[TFT] Summary of Patch 14.7 Changes|Discussion of Buffs, Nerfs, and Environmental Changes

Patch Notes (Live and PBE)

summary

Patch 14.7 is a competition scene oriented adjustment patch for the Cyber City Tactician’s Crown to be held in July.

In preparation for the culminating competition of set14, top-tier traits from the previous patch, such as Cypher, Exotech, and Vanguard, have been nerfed, and underutilized units such as Shivana, Jigs, and Vex have been buffed.

This patch is a typical end-of-set balance adjustment, intended to ” suppress configurations and elements that were too strong ” and ” raise the level of units that had few opportunities to be used ” rather than to cause major meta-change.

Changes

  • The gift armory of replicators has been changed to “three small replicators”.

consideration

Patch 14.7 is the final adjustment patch for the competitive scene in anticipation of competitions such as the Cyber City Tactician’s Crown, while at the same time aiming to expand and improve the health of the meta.

In the previous patch, 14.6, there was a noticeable issue of a wide range of configurations becoming dysfunctional in the middle game due to excessive durability by Vanguard and Exotech.

This time around, in response, certain high durability traits (Vanguard, Exotech, Cypher) were explicitly nerfed, while units with low usage (Jigs, Cho-Gas, Neeko, etc.) and traits (Nitro, Executioner, etc.) were widely buffed.
As a result, the environment has become less dependent on a specific meta-configuration and more diverse configurations are now more likely to play an active role.

In general, patch 14.7 is balanced on the three pillars of ” correcting a fixed meta,” ” making configuration choices more flexible,” and ” ensuring competitiveness,” and is likely to be an environment that will test the skills of players who flexibly reconfigure configurations according to the board and units in progress.
